The Belt Railway Company of Chicago is currently accepting resumes for Locomotive Machinists. Applicants must be able to regularly work variable shifts on a full-time basis, including evenings and weekends. Applicants must be comfortable working outdoors in variable conditions throughout the year. High School Degree or equivalent and valid driver’s license is required.
Ideal candidates will possess:
• Previous heavy diesel mechanical experience with welding and/or general mechanical experience.
• Documented history of heavy diesel mechanical training and qualifications.
• Strong safety record, including focus on maintaining safe work habits and practices.
