The Belt Railway Company of Chicago is currently accepting resumes for Locomotive Shop Laborers. Locomotive Shop Laborers are responsible for providing basic service to BRC and foreign locomotives (sanding, water, general cleaning) as well as providing general labor in the BRC Locomotive Repair Shop. Applicants must be able to regularly work variable shifts, including evenings, overnight and weekends. Applicants must be comfortable working outdoors in variable weather conditions throughout the year. Must be able to safely work on or near heavy machinery.
High School Degree or equivalent and valid driver’s license is required.
Must be 18 years or older.
