Assistant Superintendent Transportation
The Belt Railway Company is seeking an Assistant Superintendent Transportation. Reporting to the Superintendent Transportation, the successful candidate for this position will effectively manage transportation employees in the Operating Department. Candidate is accountable for train and yard operations, safety, service and asset utilization. This position must cooperatively interact with other departments and external customers. The successful candidate will possess proven leadership skills, a demonstrated ability to provide leadership by example, and the skill set to develop tomorrow’s leaders by mentoring and coaching.
Trainmaster
BRC Trainmaster will develop, direct and support implementation of BRC safety programs, rules, policies, and procedures within the Transportation Department to ensure compliance and to eliminate injuries/accidents and reduce workplace risk.
Software Developer
The software developer will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and enhancements of Belt Railway’s custom developed operational system. This is a hands-on role which will be responsible for all stages of the software development lifecycle including functional design, technical architecture and design, development, testing, user enablement and adoption, end user support, and issue triage. The system is built using Java / Spring / React / Thymeleaf, with a Microsoft SQL Server Database and deployed in the Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
