Employees worked together during a recent cleanup day.
They helped prevent potential slips, trips and falls and beautified the Belt community by removing debris.
With winter around the corner, making sure debris is picked up before it could be obscured by snow was a motivating factor for the event. Mechanical employees worked around the RIP track and diesel shop. Volunteers who work in the General Office Building cleaned around that structure, including many clerical employees, Administrative Assistants Amanda Lill and Cindy Homan, and Transportation Chief Clerk Caitlin Kerney. Safety committee members, including Sergeant Sam Canerday, worked on the railroad’s main entrance.
Volunteers were treated to pizza.
