B&B and Communications Supervisor Jorge Guerrero said he was pleased to welcome 15 high school seniors from Excel Academy of Southwest in Chicago during their field trip to BRC.

“It was cool giving back, sharing knowledge with the students and letting them know there’s more than college,” Guerrero said, noting how many were unsure if they wanted to pursue post-secondary education or directly enter the workforce. “They were engaged and asking a lot of questions.”

Digital Media Coordinator Joe Chacon produced an eight-minute orientation video for the students, which he plans to expand and make it more comprehensive.
