Track and Signal employees replaced the yard’s master retarder and group 3 retarder July 14.
The capital project required a major outage.
To maximize the outage, employees performed a yard sweep of all tracks that were out of service, clearing debris. Switch components and ties were replaced and surfacing also was performed.
