Engineering had a busy summer.

Six employees were added to Signal team and three to Track. Numerous important projects were completed, including the 55th Street road crossing and installation of mainline ties.

In July, 75 Communications, Signal and Track employees collaborated to replace the East Classification Yard’s intermediate retarder. In August, new continuous welded rail (CWR) was installed on the North Thoroughfare.
