Rules key to new role for Jonas

Manager of Rules and Compliance Clint Jonas began his new role May 1.

The former Signal instructor/foreman is now responsible for ensuring compliance with FRA rules and regulations, reporting incidents and updating the Belt’s manuals. Jonas will also track safety trends to help the Belt determine opportunities for enhancement.

“I’m excited to have a new challenge and learn a different aspect of the railroad,” Jonas said.

He believes his attention to detail has him suited to the role. And he looks forward to working with the Learning Management System (LMS), better known as Belt University.
