As general foreman of special projects and training, Rob Soltys will oversee locomotive rebuilds and other projects, including enhancements to the diesel shop. The former service track foreman will also work closely with vendors. 

“The goal is to safely get locomotives pulling freight as soon as possible,” said Soltys, who looks forward to taking on new challenges and responsibilities. “BRC has been very good to me, and I couldn’t be happier.” 

Soltys especially enjoys the relationships he’s formed at the Belt.

“We’re friends outside of work too,” he said.
