Carmen Ross Casper and Richard Swade recently noticed four rail cars rolling out of Martin Yard toward 8 Lead where employees were switching. They quickly notified East Yardmaster David Johnson who had the rail cars stopped and secured. 

Assistant Superintendent of Mechanical Bob Perham believes Casper, Johnson and Swade’s actions on June 11 prevented a possible incident.

“Great heads-up by these gentlemen,” he said.
