Operation Lifesaver Presenter Joseph Chacon educates students, parents and teachers about railroad safety April 7 at Irene C. Hernandez Middle School.

Operation Lifesaver Presenter Joseph Chacon visited Irene C. Hernandez Middle School April 7 to meet with parents, teachers and students as they picked up report cards.

He set up a table and distributed literature to attendees.  The event was a success.

“I discussed the importance of safety at railroad crossings and dangers of trespassing on railroad property,” Chacon said.
