Emergency preparedness training continues

To boost the railroad’s emergency preparedness profile, CPR, first aid and AED training has been ramped up.

Police Chief Gerald Conoboy credits President Mike Grace with putting safety first and supporting the training. It’s resulted in 123 Belt employees becoming CPR, first aid and AED certified in 2019, which represents more than a quarter of the entire staff.

Training continues in January.

CPR training is part of emergency preparedness.
