The BRC recently held its annual Safety Awareness Picnic.
A number of retirees such as former Roadmaster Bob Ward attended.
“It was great to see everyone,” he said.
Vehicle Operator Alfredo Hernandez agreed.
“We get together, and it feel likes family,” he said.
Vendors including Acosta Medical Testing, Colander-Nolan Eye Clinic, Excel Occupational Health and Great Lakes Credit Union also participated. Excel Occupational Health administered flu shots and blood pressure tests, while Colander-Nolan Eye Clinic distributed safety glasses and offered eye exams.
