Illinois Distracted Driving Awareness Week was Apr. 24-28.

The BRC Police force participated by dedicating 20 hours of enforcement time to the effort. Members of the force issued 23 warnings for unlawful use of electronic communication devices and four citations. Eleven other warnings and one citation were issued for other offenses.
