New partner runs ethics hotline

The Belt’s 24/7 compliance hotline is independently administered.

Ethics and compliance experts NAVEX Global recently took it over.

The EthicsPoint hotline remains 877-270-5059. Employees can also enter reports online at https://secure.ethicspoint.com/domain/media/en/gui/53073/index.html.

The hotline is intended for reports of violations of the railroad’s code of conduct and is not for emergency services. As has been the case since the hotline’s debut in 2012, all reports can be submitted anonymously.

The hotline was established as a tool to help maintain The Belt’s high standards and ensure that the company conducts its business legally and ethically. Information obtained via the hotline and website is relayed to the Belt for prompt and discreet investigation and follow-up.

  • Accounting or auditing irregularities
  • Theft or fraud
  • Disclosure of proprietary information
