Joe Chacon, switchman, and Jacqueline Guerrero, school partnership specialist, work to bring Operation Lifesaver’s message to inner-city schoolchildren.

To further extend the reach of Operation Lifesaver, Switchman Joe Chacon orchestrated an official partnership between the BRC and Communities in Schools, a nonprofit organization that helps inner-city schools obtain quality presenters for its students.  Other organization partners include Shedd Aquarium, the Chicago Fire Department, the Illinois attorney general and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago.

Chacon has been working with Jacqueline Guerrero, school partnership specialist, to visit more schools directly adjacent to BRC main lines.
