March 6: Track Inspector Mark Okon observed a suspicious vehicle parked by the railroad ties east of the West Yard office. He immediately called the BRC Police and gave a detailed description of the vehicle, its two female occupants, as well as two dogs. Okon watched the vehicle from a distance until police arrived on scene. As a result, the subjects were stopped and identified. His actions may have prevented an injury or other incident on property.
March 16: Car Inspector Rolando Cantu observed a trespasser walking up the stairs on the north side of the hump. Cantu called the East Yardmaster Robert Jameson, who notified BRC Police. Officers responded and located the subject who was lost. The subject was escorted off BRC property with a warning.
Great job! These actions may have prevented an injury or other incident on property. Cantu and Okon received Belt Railway tumblers for their outstanding efforts.
