Our recent annual Safety Awareness Picnic was a fun way to celebrate your achievements. Your professionalism and dedication is why we’ve driven down injury frequency and severity and won awards for our safety success.

You’ve built that culture, and it’s up to each and every one of us to work together to maintain it. It’s one of the reasons that we’ve introduced a company-wide safety recognition program. We must never forget that our most important value is safety. It’s the foundation of how we play our pivotal role as a railroad and move freight across the country.

But of course we don’t work safely for awards or rewards. We work safely so that every one of us goes home safe to our families after a productive day of work. As you brief before work, think of who you work safely for, and let that inspire you to maintain world-class safety  practices and look out for your brothers and sisters here at BRC.
