The Archer Avenue road crossing replacement served as a major project for Production Foreman Mike Heikes and his teammates. 

It involved two crossing panels, three switch point panels, two main line tracks on the Kenton Line and a road closure that temporarily stopped city traffic on a major thoroughfare.

Fifteen Belt employees teamed up for the endeavor, using track and time for protection.
