B&B, Signal and Track employees replaced a heavily used crossing in June. 

It crosses Muskegon Avenue blocks south of 104th Street in Chicago. The road sees lots of heavy-load truck traffic, which necessitated the use of heavy-duty concrete panels to extend the crossing’s longevity. 

The project boasted a first: composite ties were used under the crossing. The job was completed in two weeks.
