B&B employees are converting a former lunchroom into a meeting space.
Communications and B&B Supervisor Jorge Guerrero said one key feature will be noise insulation to protect it from the sounds of the hump. The new room will be located away from windows and outfitted with upgraded furniture. A 10-foot-long trench was dug to hide cables and wiring. This will offer a seamless, professional appearance, he said.
B&B employees reconstructed walls, replaced ceiling tiles, and upgraded electrical components and the HVAC system.
Guerrero expects the new room to be more comfortable and conducive to issue-free remote meetings.
When it’s complete, B&B will begin work on a new lunchroom, which will be relocated to the former Engineering office.
